These Hispanic genealogy books were written to aid those doing Mexican genealogy in the Cadereyta Jimenez area of Nuevo Leon, Mexico. The area and period covered by these genealogy books were chosen because it is one of the earlier settlements in Nuevo Leon (1637). This period includes several very important events that shaped the lives of our Hispanic ancestors, namely, the revolution and the formation of a new nation.
The primary purpose of these Hispanic genealogy books is; First, to provide basic facts about ones Hispanic ancestors in Cadereyta Jimenez and the surrounding area. Second, to allow one to find your ancestor information quickly within these Mexican genealogy records. Finally, every effort was made to include all ancestry information contained in each genealogy record. This last statement is divergent from what most authors do when they encounter ancestry information in the genealogy record that is an exception rather than the rule. As would be the case where a parents profession or a padrinos relationship to another person is provided in the original Mexican genealogy record.
